Education Programs at the Center of Help

If you enjoy helping kids of any age, we have the opportunity for you! We meet Saturdays 10am – noon at Heritage Baptist Church on Forest Dr. You need to be at least 17 years old and able to guide students in Reading and Math mainly. We serve grades 1st – 12th and are always looking for people who have a passion for helping others, need service hours, or have teaching skills especially for upper grades as we generally help these students with their school assignments ranging from Literature to Chemistry and everything in between. You do not need to speak Spanish as all instruction is in English

English as a Second Language (ESOL)

English classes are taught by English and Spanish teachers. We offer four classes every week. LEVELED CLASSES: To attend these classes, you will need to register and take a placement test.

  • Monday & Thursday levels 1 y 2 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday & Friday levels 3 y 4 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.


The Center of Help in partnership with local banks provides financial literacy counseling one on one and in small groups.

Our Citizenship and Immigration classes started in September of 2011, and since then, we have helped over one hundred (+100) people to become American Citizens. There are over 20 persons attending the class and more coming in hopes to join. Center of Help provide assistance to become citizens of the United States, and we ensure you understand the laws and customs of the United States of America.
Our classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 7:00PM to 9:00PM.
